We started on Sunday getting a coach whatsapp saying "Be ready for war." I think the words of the coach define very well what the game was. We arrived in Wellington with a list of 14 players, 12 + 2 goalies. Some players had some injuries and one of the goalies (andres) would play as a striker. The whole team was aware that it would be a difficult match.
We started the game, the sensations were good but after a few minutes we didn’t play as we wanted. The first half ended 1-0, wellington was ahead on the scoreboard with a rebound in a PC action. During the break we tried to correct some tactical things and mentalise that it was possible to win the match but that we had to fight and give 200% each. In the second half we had some good chances and finally the first goal arrived. Timo again! He put the 1-1 on the scoreboard taking advantage of a pc. The victory was closer despite playing a few minutes with 9 players because of the cards. It was not until the end of the game, with two minutes left that Joan Gali put the final 2-1. With 30 seconds left the referee gave an unbelievable pc for wellington but a great defender and a great goalkeeper helped keeping the score 2-1 for temse. The most important part of the match is the great fighting spirit, the great team spirit and the great work done by the team. We were 14, injuries, goalies playing as forwards etc. But we still did it. I guess it's the little magic of temse .. Maybe we are not the favorite but we fight and we work hard to get results.
Finally I’d like to mention Phillip Maxcence as an example of the great team that we are. The central defender is injured but he attends all games and help from the stand to order the team and encourage at all times.
